Job Description:
  • Inventory management:
    • Maintain accurate records of all stock levels, including raw materials and finished goods.
    • Conduct regular stock counts and audits.
    • Monitor stock levels and report when materials need to be reordered.
  • Receiving and dispatching:
    • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries, verifying them against purchase orders.
    • Label and price items as needed.
    • Package and prepare materials for dispatch to project sites.

 

  • Storage and organization:
    • Organize and maintain the store or warehouse for efficient and safe storage.
    • Ensure materials are stored correctly to prevent damage or spoilage.
    • Maintain a neat, clean, and safe working environment.
  • Record-keeping and reporting:
    • Keep detailed records of all stock movements, both incoming and outgoing.
    • Track the distribution of materials to different projects or departments.
    • Assist with inventory-related accounting tasks.
  • Communication and coordination:
    • Communicate with project managers and designers to understand their material needs.
    • Liaise with suppliers regarding orders and deliveries.
