Job Description:
- Inventory management:
- Maintain accurate records of all stock levels, including raw materials and finished goods.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits.
- Monitor stock levels and report when materials need to be reordered.
- Receiving and dispatching:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries, verifying them against purchase orders.
- Label and price items as needed.
- Package and prepare materials for dispatch to project sites.
- Storage and organization:
- Organize and maintain the store or warehouse for efficient and safe storage.
- Ensure materials are stored correctly to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe working environment.
- Record-keeping and reporting:
- Keep detailed records of all stock movements, both incoming and outgoing.
- Track the distribution of materials to different projects or departments.
- Assist with inventory-related accounting tasks.
- Communication and coordination:
- Communicate with project managers and designers to understand their material needs.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding orders and deliveries.
